Swinburne's centenary celebrations

This year, Swinburne University of Technology celebrates 100 years since its establishment by the Honourable George Swinburne. From humble beginnings as a technical college, today Swinburne is a research leader and one of the very few Australian universities offering a range of programs, from apprenticeships to PhDs.

Swinburne's centenary celebrations will not only be an opportunity for us to mark 100 years of teaching excellence and entrepreneurial spirit; it is also an opportunity for us to acknowledge the beginnings of a new century and a new vision for Swinburne.
